Aloha and Hello!  My name is Mequasah ( Mec-wa-sa ) Simpson and I am a certified holistic health coach who works with people with a strong desire to change and or improve their overall health and wellness. 

 

I am currently living in West Linn, Oregon and work with clients both in-person as well as on Zoom. 
     
What does holistic mean?  This means that I look at the entire you, if you were a house we would start with the foundation and make our way up.  For example:   Maybe you want to remodel your kitchen ( AKA find a new career ) or clear junk out of a room ( lose weight ) I think you get the idea. 

I offer easy solutions to help clients achieve their health goals.
 

  • Have you ever looked in the mirror or at an old photo and realized that you just don't have the same vitality that you used to have? 

  • Are you trapped in a body that just doesn't feel like it's yours? 

  • Has the real you slipped away and you want that person back?

My promise to you:

  • Things are going to get better for you!

  • I work with my clients individually to listen, inspire and motivate them back to who they used to be or to a better them than they ever were. 

  • This is no 7 day fast change solution, I am offering steady lasting changes based on cultivating deeper balance with small daily steps.

  • I am here to give you the support you might not get elsewhere.

  • I look at the WHOLE picture and with the knowledge that YOU have the answers inside of you. 

  • I help you uncover those truths so that you can have an overall state of well-being in both body and mind.

Aloha!  

There are times in everyone's lives where we can find ourselves in a rut.  Maybe we have been there for so long we don't have a clue where to begin or how to get ourselves out. 

If you are looking into finding a health coach then you have accomplished the most difficult thing step in healing already!

It might be in our normal life that we are stuck, or it might be in dealing with the many curve balls that life throws at us.  This can come in the form of the loss of a loved one, realizing that we hate our job, the break down of relationships etc...  

 

The response to these can be anything from weight gain and inflammation to skin irritations, insomnia, depression, anxiety and so much more.

 

I believe that we all intrinsically have the answers to our own maladies and issues within our selves.  I listen with a loving and non judgmental ear to ask the right questions in order to help you get back on the right path.

Why a 6 month program?

 

-  Your ill health did not happen overnight and likely won't get turned around overnight.

- That being said, this doesn't mean you won't notice improvements quickly, even days or a week into the program.

-  This will give us opportunities to work thru obstacles, both physical and emotional that will come up during this time.

-  We have built habits over years and years, some even from childhood.  Many of us have given so much to our loved ones, or jobs, our community that we forget how to value and give back to ourselves.   

-  It is unrealistic to think that you can just change those habits in a matter of weeks.

                                                

This is no one size fits all program.  We are bio individual and will be treated as such.

While I am a certified personal trainer and yoga teacher the physical aspect of health is only one part of our program.  This is a life changing program and the size of that change is up to you.

-  Showing you easy cooking in your kitchen

-  Grocery store label reading - Am I really making the best decisions for my health and my goals?

-  Pantry makeover - What might be holding you back, substitutions and ideas

-  Fitness programs you can feel successful in - Maybe walking, maybe a gym fitness plan

-  Buddy fitness class session - Sometimes its overwhelming to try a new class or activity on your own.  I’ll help set it up and come with!
